New Faith Baptist Church

Matteson, IL

The building features a curved facade with an innovative suspended steel sunshade system. The sunshade modulates with respect to the solar orientation as the facade curves from an eastern to northern orientation. Exterior lighting was designed to work in unison with the natural daylight and compliment the façade at nighttime. The main lobby lighting extends the exterior lighting inside leading to the 2,300-seat auditorium, 300-seat chapel and fellowship hall.
