Delavan, WI – AKLD Lighting Design is honored to announce that the Village Supper Club has been awarded two prestigious LIV Hospitality Design Awards—one for Architecture and one for Interior Design. As the lighting designers for this remarkable project, we are thrilled to have played a role in bringing a new era of ambiance and warmth to this beloved lakeside destination.
Situated on the scenic shores of Delavan Lake, the Village Supper Club has long been a cherished gathering place for the community. The recent renovation, led by DMAC Architecture & Interiors, seamlessly blends legacy with modern sophistication. AKLD Lighting Design crafted a lighting experience that enhances the club’s inviting atmosphere, emphasizing both its architectural beauty and its connection to the surrounding landscape.
Through a strategic combination of indirect lighting and carefully placed fixtures, our design creates a warm and welcoming environment that balances nostalgia with contemporary elegance. The lighting highlights key architectural elements, accentuating the expansive A-frame roof and panoramic lake views framed by the all-glass façade. The outdoor spaces, including a spacious deck, are softly illuminated to extend the ambiance beyond the restaurant’s interior, welcoming both boaters and families to gather in a relaxed yet refined setting.
“We are incredibly proud to see the Village Supper Club recognized on such a distinguished platform,” said the AKLD Lighting Design team. “Our goal was to craft a lighting design that not only enhances the space but also honors the deep-rooted traditions of Wisconsin supper clubs. This project is a testament to the power of thoughtful lighting in transforming experiences.”
Completed in 2024, this 8,400-square-foot renovation showcases the synergy between architecture, interior design, and lighting in creating an unforgettable destination for both locals and visitors alike.
