Senior Lighting Designer
For the past 30 years, Mary has been designing lighting for architectural, engineering, architectural/engineering and design build firms on the East Coast, Chicago, and Milwaukee. Mary has the skill and experience to understand how lighting affects a space and how lighting design can successfully be incorporated into a holistic design process to deliver a beautiful and interesting interior or exterior built environment. Working as part of the design team from schematic design through owner occupation offers the opportunity to participate in, understand and communicate fresh ideas and proven solutions. Mary particularly enjoys being the bridge between the architectural and engineering team members.
Mary’s work has included lighting for civic, corporate, education, commercial, health care, museum, contemporary and historic landmarks, residential, and retail facilities as well as developing strategic lighting solutions for cities and neighborhood streetscapes and corporate and academic campuses. She contributes to the design team by offering custom luminaire design, computer-aided illumination calculations, 3D lighting models, electronic documentation, high-quality presentation materials, specifications, budget cost estimating, energy studies, automated lighting controls and life cycle cost analysis.
